Restylane

What are Restylane dermal fillers?

Restylane is an FDA-approved dermal filler made primarily with hyaluronic acid. It appears as a clear gel, and when injected, Restylane can add extra fullness and volume. It can also enhance the body's hyaluronic production. We use Restylane to address specific wrinkles, giving a younger appearance. This filler targets medium to severe-depth wrinkles at the dermal layer, specifically:

  • Nasolabial folds or smile lines (the lines that form from the nose to the mouth)
  • Marionette Lines (the lines that start from the mouth to the chin)
  • And the corners of your mouth (small wrinkles that spread out when you smile or laugh)

Restylane has a 95% satisfaction rate and may last more than one year after injection.

Side Effects

With any medical procedure, there are some risks and potential side effects. Restylane has some minor side effects, which, of course, depend on how it's administered. After your filler session, it's common to experience bruising and swelling in the injection area. Redness and tenderness can also happen. These side effects typically last a few days. However, there are cases where the side effects extend to 2 weeks.
